第十六届国际二次离子质谱学会议（The 16th International Conference on Secondary Ion Mass Spectrometry, SIMS XVI）于2007年10月29日至11月2日在日本西部金泽市(Kanazawa)召开，原中国真空学会常务理事、清华大学著名教授查良镇先生在会上作了会术报告，并代表中国首次当选为新一届国际组织委员会(International Organization Committee)委员。

   首次包括中国成员的名单如下：

   下一届会议定于2009年9月13－18日在加拿大的Toronto召开。主席是美国在布法罗的纽约州立大学（The State University of New York at Buffalo） J. Gardella教授。
